Guiding Our Mission, Steering Our Vision

Score For Kids Foundation’s Board of Directors governs the work of the Foundation. Our Board shapes the Foundation’s direction through its mission, budget, strategy, and policies; Our Foundation’s Board meets formally three times each year to ensure that resources, leadership, and finances in place match the Foundation’s vision and improves the performance of the organization.

Score For Kids Foundation is composed of a diverse group of individuals from a variety of ethnicities and job occupations. The seven board members and four staff compose our board and are all passionate about our mission to empower and educate the youth, enhance community support and increase community involvement.

Ezra Williams
Founder

Ezra Williams is a University of Georgia graduate who also played basketball for the Bulldogs. While attending the University of Georgia, Ezra majored in Human Development and Family Science. After seven years of playing professional basketball all over the world, Ezra founded Score For Kids Foundation in 2010 with the mission to decrease childhood obesity and promote health and education in America and around the world. He was the Director of Basketball Operations while also working as a fitness instructor for Lifetime fitness. Ezra has an education in family science and is extremely passionate about developing the youth as well as the community through Score For Kids Foundation.

Anthony Evans
President, Vice – Chair

Anthony Evans is from Decatur Georgia and attended Southwest Dekalb High School where he was a three sports athlete in baseball, basketball, and football. After High School, Anthony attended Neosho County Community College, where he earned national player of the year playing basketball for the Panthers before attending UGA. While attending UGA, he was awarded 1st team Outstanding Scholastic student and SEC All Male Student-Athlete award for his GPA and involvement in the community. Anthony received his degree from UGA in the summer of 2004. Played eight years professionally abroad and currently works for UPS SCS in International Sales. His wife Lisa and two kids Landon (8) and Aviana (3) and currently living in Cumming Ga. Anthony joined our board in 2010.

Greg Carson
CHAIR, EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Greg was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. Moved to Woodstock, Georgia in 1990 with his lovely wife, Renita Turner Carson, and currently, reside in Downtown Woodstock. Greg has one son, Will Carson, who is a senior at the University of Georgia. Two step-daughters, Jennifer and Kimberly, and their husbands and 11 grandchildren.

Greg has over thirty years of experience in the Mortgage Banking, and Residential Construction Businesses. Currently, working with TJC Mortgage in Kennesaw, Georgia as a Mortgage Loan Officer. Graduated from the University of Georgia in 1982 with a degree in Business Finance. Enjoys attending UGA games with his family, playing golf with his son Will and spending time with family and friends. Greg is an Avid UGA sports fan and season ticket holder. Greg joined our board in 2017.

Susan Lahey
Chair, Executive Committee

Susan has a BA in French and English from the University of Tennessee, MEd from UGA. Retired from a position as Academic Counselor and UGA Athletic Association in 2005, then retired from Sawgrass Lake Elementary School in Pinellas County FL in 2016. Three adult children and five grandchildren. Lives in Gainesville Ga. Susan joined our board in 2012.

Stan Peabody
Network Engagement DIRECTOR

Stan is the CEO of Athlos Cloud Solutions, a firm specializing in providing Salesforce CRM solutions and services.  He holds a B.A. in Hospitality and Community Development from St. Cloud State University. 

As a fanatic of all sports, he has a very diverse knowledge and exposure to a variety of sports having lived in Liberia, West Africa and in the United States.  His blogger like approach keeps his acquaintances up to date on current issues in the sports world through social media outlets such as Facebook, Instagram and X.  Stan’s 10+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, along with 8+ years in Information Technology, has helped him in cultivating and maintaining key relationships that extend well beyond the realm of any one industry.  His most recent work includes implementing Salesforce for nonprofit organizations in the U.S.  and Africa which has helped enhance his ideas relating to his contributions to Score For Kids.  Stan joined our board in 2017.
